2020 Dauphin Fair Cancelled
The Dauphin Agricultural Society has officially decided to postpone the 129th annual fair which was scheduled for June 26-28, 2020. We have considered all possible options and measures and feel that at this time, we are unable to deliver a high-quality event that our patrons, sponsors, and community would expect.
The Dauphin Agricultural Society is one of the oldest organizations in our area, and we are proud to be part of our community. In fulfilling our mission statement, we will continue to be proud advocates of endorsing agriculture production, 4H, Home Living and education.
In early March of 2020, we hosted a very successful Farm Outlook education day with high quality speakers bringing a wealth of knowledge to our producers. Our Board of Directors unanimously chose Lyle and Virginia Fox as recipients of this year's Ron Brook Memorial Award. We plan to choose an appropriate time in the near future to recognize the Fox Family.
A sincere thank you to our volunteers, exhibitors, patrons, vendors, sponsors and ultimately our community that has supported the Dauphin Agricultural Society.
We look forward to seeing everyone in 2021 as we showcase out events with Farm Outlook in March and the fair July 2nd - 4th.
2021 Fair Dates: July 2nd - 4th
Welcome to the Dauphin Agricultural Society. The Dauphin Agricultural Society was the first organization established in the Dauphin area. We are a vibrant organization that works to promote community life. Our goals have always been to promote all facets of agriculture and to encourage youth to understand and appreciate agriculture.
Our activities include: Farm Outlook, which is a one day event featuring various speakers on a variety of agricultural subjects from marketing, succession, investing off the farm and government programs. Our longest running event has been our Agricultural Fair. We feature many livestock shows, a full midway by Select Shows, and of course our featured outdoor attraction, the Demolition Derby.
We have created a scholarship which is presented each year to a successful recipient that will further their education in Agriculture, Human Ecology or related studies. The Ag Society is a proud supporter of 4H in the North Parkland area.
On behalf of our Executive, Board of Directors and Members, the Dauphin Agricultural Society invites you to explore our website and find out more about our many activities. If you have any questions or would like to become part of the Dauphin Agricultural Society, please contact us.
